Recent Death

The death took place recently of Tony Laffan well-known shopkeeper and recently retired Manister Post Master. The remains of the late Tony Laffan was removed from Daffys Funeral Home to St. Michael the Archangel Church Manister. Requiem mass chief celebrant Fr. Jeremiah McSweeney (cousin) Pastor in St. Patrick's Church Weston West Virginia USA assisted by Fr. Garry Bluett. The internment took place to Religh Mhuire, Croom. A profile of the life and times of Tony Laffan will be compiled by the local correspondent in one of the Limerick Leader Publications in the near future.
